BYU and Utah State Players Earn Spots on ESPN's Initial 2027 NBA Draft Big Board

ESPN has officially rolled out its early top 100 big board rankings for the 2027 NBA Draft, and local college basketball fans have plenty to get excited about. A strong contingent from Utah cracked the list, led by BYU’s Bruce Branch III anchoring at #3 overall.

The Cougars placed two more standouts on the board with Collin Chandler checking in at #75 and Robert Wright III at #88. Rounding out the local representation is Utah State star guard and reigning Mountain West Player of the Year Mason Falslev, who earned the #98 spot.

While this is just the opening rankings from draft analysts, all four players enter the season with massive opportunities to build on their stock, showcase their development, and climb even higher up draft boards as the college basketball season unfolds.
